The Drivers Cooperative is a registered cooperative of drivers operating in New York City. The cooperative is owned and operated by drivers for the benefit of drivers. Its flagship operation is a rideshare service starting soon, that is referred to by its acronym TDC (The Drivers Coop).
Who owns The Drivers Cooperative?
The Drivers Coop, as the name implies, is owned and operated by member-owners. Each member-owner owns one voting share in the cooperative.
Does TDC own an app like Uber?
Yes, TDC owns its own rideshare app. It’s a robust, well-built app. It allows drivers and passengers to book trips, be picked up and dropped off at their locations safely.
What are the main differences between TDC and other rideshare services?
The Coop operates for the sole benefit of drivers, all drivers. TDC drivers will earn consistently and significantly more per trip than with Uber and Lyft.
