Who owns The Drivers Cooperative?

The Drivers Coop, as the name implies, is owned and operated by member-owners. Each member-owner owns one voting share in the cooperative. The cooperative is managed by an elected driver board and a day to day management team appointed by the driver-elected board and with extensive experience in ridehailing operations and labor organizing. Unlike Uber and Lyft, which were created to profit off of drivers’ labor, the Cooperative is formed to benefit those who make the cooperative successful. Profits go back to drivers as dividends. Drivers who work more will earn more.
